Why do I do what I do? I love newborns, babies, children and families. I love the interaction between them and the love that flows from one to the next. Why do I specialize in custom photography? I want you to have a special heirloom piece whether its wall art or an album . I want you to have something that you can look at and relish everyday. And as your children grow older as mine are, being able to see these art pieces up on the wall is so comforting.
I’ve changed my package structure around some recently to represent my desire for you all to have something tangible to show from your photography session. Yes, I know everyone wants digitals and you can still get those but after you get something tangible. Wouldn’t it be great to sit down with your child when he or she is 2 or 3 and look through an album from when he was a newborn? He or she will know how much he was loved because they can see it in your eyes from the pictures of you holding them.
This is such a momentous time in your life and the life of your baby. They change so much in this first span of a year. Why not document it in an album. Our Baby plan is a great way to document that first year.
I realize that I am not the photographer for everybody. If you want just prints, I am probably not the photographer for you. If you decide to book with me, I guarantee that it will be worth it and I’ll make sure you will get the experience you are looking for. I would love you to come in to the studio for a consultation and we can see if we are a good fit. I also provide payment plans for my clients, if you would love to book but you might not have the budget.

This handsome 14 day old newborn came to the studio right after Thanksgiving. What a head of hair he had. He was just beautiful. I photographed his beautiful mama for her maternity portraits here. He was awake for some of the photos and what a good baby he was. Barely a beep. Congratulations to your new family. Enjoy and relish this time. He’ll only be little like this once. Thanks for coming to the studio for your portraits.
This past week I had this beautiful 12 day old Baby K come to the studio with his mom and Grand mom who was visiting from Boston. They drove to the studio from North Wales, Pa and their GPS took them the long way. Lucky for them Baby K slept the whole time. Once he was here, he decided he wanted to see what was going on for a bit. What a beautiful baby his is. He was the calmest baby even when awake and barely fussed. What a joy to photograph. I’m trying to get caught up on some of the wonderful families from the fall. Now that the holidays are over, I can post some of the pictures because I didn’t want to ruin their holiday cards.
This wonderful Moorestown family joined me again this year for a fall mini session. Last time I saw them was for little N newborn session. You can see that session here. It’s amazing how in 9 months what a difference it can make from a newborn to a baby. I love it when families come back to me so I can see how big the kids are getting. I enjoy spending time with you and watching your children grow. Great to see you again guys. See you next year.

It is such a joy to me to be able to capture your memories and little snippets of your lives each year. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season with their family and friends. Mine was spent with family and my 92 year old grandmother. She fell 5 weeks ago and broke her pelvis and spent some time getting rehab so she could be here with us for Christmas. Last year the week before Thanksgiving she fell and broke her hip and had a hip replacement. She missed all the holidays last year so this year she wasn’t missing out. Such determination.
I just wanted to take the time to thank all of my wonderful clients this year. Some new and some old had me capture their memories for them. It is such an honor to allow me to capture your lives. I truly appreciate it. Here is a snapshot of some of the wonderful newborns, children and families I was able to capture this past year. Looking forward to 2014.
My daughter turned 12 years old in October. How the time does fly by. It seems just like yesterday that she was born and I was sleep deprived. I tell all my clients enjoy the little moments and the little ages because the are gone before you know it. Now I will be dealing with the teenage years and hormones etc. Am I ready for this? No way. Thanks KG for being such a wonderful daughter. We love you.

The files will only be available to use for your card only. You will not be able to download the digital image onto your computer.
How do I go about ordering my holiday cards on Minted? Follow these few easy steps:

2. Upload your own digital image or I can upload the ones you have already paid for. If you want to order files just for your card, send me an email at michelle@michellebakerphotography.com to tell me which ones you would like for $25/image. I will send you a PayPal invoice then I will upload those images onto Minted.com
3. Browse the great choices and customize your own card.. Pay and then wait for then to arrive. One thing checked off of your Holiday Checklist.

What a chilly afternoon and windy too!! These guys were troopers. I think it was the first time this fall the temperature didn’t reach 50 degrees. Loved their outfits and how everyone coordinated. Enjoy D family!
