Thank you for all the wonderful memories photographing your families. I will miss you all. It was a great 11 years! Time for me to do something different. Keep in touch.
This past week I had the fun time trying to photograph 5 little cuties dressed in their Halloween costumes. Were we crazy trying to get a group photograph of all 5 kids?! Also it also happened to be the one rainy day this week so we had to be inside. Here is a sneak peak of some of costumes. Enjoy Moms!
Melissa Wood of Mount Laurel. You are the winner of the free session and free 8×10. I will contact you through email. I look forward to working with you.
Thanks for everyone who stopped by at my booth on Sat during Autumn in Moorestown Day. We had a beautiful day with sun, no clouds and a great temperature. This was my first show and I would say it was a big success. I got to speak to many wonderful people and hear many great stories. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to work with you soon.
I’ll announce the winner of the free session and free 8×10 tomorrow. Stay tuned.
This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph my beautiful niece for her senior portraits. She is a senior at St. Mary’s High School outside of Boston. We had fun traveling all around to the different cool spots. Breanna was a good sport for all my ideas. It’s hard for me to believe that she is graduating from high school this year. I remember when she was 3 years old. I guess that means that I am getting OLD!! Thanks again, Breanna for a fun time.
I had another wonderful session with a family from Cherry Hill. We almost got rained out for the second time but we were able to get the session in before the rain. Gabby took a little to warm up but once she did, we had a great time. Thank you to Scott for all your faces and antics to get the kids to laugh. I can see your household is alot of fun. Jake was a big trooper for his lack of sleep that day. Hope you enjoy your sneak peak.

Well, it is that time of the year to start thinking about Christmas/Holiday cards. Fall is a great time to have your family portraits taken. The next few days there will be some examples up on the blog of different examples of the cards we have available. Even if you don’t like what you see, there are still more or I could design one for you.
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the McGroarty family at a cute park near their home. It had a little bridge with a stream with lots of greenery around. We met in the morning and had lots of fun. Even their dog Wrigley, made an appearance. Jack was all smiles and such a happy little boy. As the time went on and he was getting tired, the thumb would go in this mouth.
Here is a little sneak peek at some of your pictures. It was hard to choose because they are all great. We have some really good ones to pick from. Thank you for allowing to photograph your wonderful family. I had a great time.
I had thewonderful opportunity to be invited to take photos at the Moorestown Newcomers Club Luncheon on Friday. I was a member of this wonderful club for 4 years when I first moved to Moorestown. Some of my good friends that I have now, I met at the Newcomers Club. The Luncheon was held at the Moorestown Field Club in their Club Room which over looks the course. Thank you to Heather Colella, the President, for the opportunity. Have a great year ladies.
Well, it was a busy time in August and the beginning of September. 2 family trips and the beginning of school kept us very busy here. Hope everyone is back in the swing of things for the fall. I thought I would start off with a What to Wear segment since the days are getting cooler and shorter. Keep tuned for alot of fun things happening here at Michelle Baker Photography. We are getting ready for fall and the holiday season. Can you believe I actually said that?!
Well, we have been back now for almost a week from our few days in NY at Mohonk Mountain House. What a beautiful place. Very serene and calming. Just what we needed to de-stress and relax. It is located at the base of the Catskill Mountains. You could go hiking and swimming in the lake. My kids took me on this rock climbing hike called the Labyrinth. Christopher says “Mom, you should take your camera. It is really beautiful up there.” So when Katie and I went later that day, I brought my camera. BIG MISTAKE. He was right the view was beautiful but it was very dangerous all the climbing, jumping, and sliding down lots of rocks and boulders. I think the only thing that got damaged was my lens filter on one of my lens. Anyway, I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely go back.
Thanks so much, Michelle! We love the photos! Julie and Scott
